Know exactly what happens after you choose a website plan

Clear expectations for template launches, custom domains, hosting, maintenance, content, leads, ownership, and ongoing support.

The service model

Launch quickly without giving up control of your business

VSN Networks uses a reusable website platform to create professional websites efficiently for small-business categories such as mortgage services, daycare, contracting, consulting, and other local services. We customize the selected foundation with the client’s branding, services, content, contact details, calls to action, and supported features.

This reusable approach keeps the build and monthly care costs low. It also means the underlying platform, master templates, reusable modules, and future platform improvements remain VSN Networks property unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

Launch options

Choose the address and ownership model that fits

01

VSN subdomain

When offered, the website can launch at an address such as yourbusiness.vsnnetworks.com. VSN configures and manages the subdomain while the eligible hosting service remains active.

02

Your custom domain

You purchase and retain ownership of a domain such as yourbusiness.com. You are responsible for renewals and recovery access; VSN can help connect DNS and SSL.

03

Custom source or transfer

Source-code delivery, independent hosting, migration work, resale rights, or ownership of custom-funded modules must be priced and described in a separate written licence or assignment.

Template launch incentive: VSN may waive the initial template build fee for selected small businesses that accept an approved annual Website Care or Managed Website plan. Eligibility, template, page allowance, launch date, and minimum service term are confirmed in writing before work begins.

  • Custom domain purchased in the client’s account
  • Business name, logo, and original branding

Frequently asked questions

Questions worth answering before launch

Why can VSN offer a website at no build cost to selected clients?

The platform uses a tested reusable foundation, supported industry layouts, defined page limits, and an ongoing care relationship. This makes a complimentary template launch practical for approved clients without promising unlimited custom development.

Do I need to buy a domain?

Not necessarily. An eligible client may use an offered VSN subdomain. For a custom address, the client should purchase and own the domain, pay renewals, and retain account recovery access. VSN can help connect it.

Does monthly hosting include ownership of the platform source code?

No. Hosting and care provide use of the deployed website while the service is active. A source package, migration licence, or ownership assignment must be separately priced and documented.

Can I move to another provider?

Your custom domain, supplied content, and available business data remain portable. Code and migration rights depend on the selected plan and written agreement. VSN can quote an eligible handover or source package.

What if I need more updates than my plan includes?

VSN will estimate the extra work before proceeding. You can approve the quote, reduce the request, defer it, or move to a plan with a larger allowance.

Are leads, uptime, or search rankings guaranteed?

No. VSN uses reasonable operational practices, but internet services and third parties can fail. Leads and rankings also depend on demand, competition, content, reputation, promotion, and how quickly the client follows up.
